Come celebrate 1 year of Southeast Asian Barbeque on Batu Bolong this December 18th and 19th!
Featuring Chef Tatsuya Shinkai and our very own Yudha Permana, bringing inspiration from all over the world to the shores of the Indian Ocean for a very special collaboration.
Tatsuya Shinkai’s journey started in Tokyo and has taken him to kitchens in Sydney, Auckland, and Kyoto, each place adding something special to his style. A major turning point was at Pasture in Auckland, where he fell in love with wood-fired and fermented cooking, completely changing how he saw food.
Most recently a sous chef at EKSTEDT, a Michelin-starred restaurant in Stockholm, where every dish is cooked over wood fire (no gas, no electricity).
